The Fashion Valley Transit Center is located just over the footbridge through the back parking lot, behind the Convention Center and Royal Palm Tower.

The San Diego Trolleyis located on the elevated platform above where the buses arrive and depart from. There is an elevator in between the set of stairs for handicap accessibility. You may purchase Quick Trippers (1 way or 2 hour max.), Round Trippers, and 1-4 day passes from a machine that takes bills and gives change in quarters. The trolley runs approx. every 15 minutes and it’s direction is determined by it’s last stop.

You may reach OLD TOWN and the following areas by boarding the Green line trolley labeled “Old Town” and departing at OLD TOWN (The historic park of Old Town across the street).

**From Old Town Transit Center you may transfer to a bus to reach the following areas: SeaWorld - #9Northbound; Mission Beach/Pacific Beach - #8 Northbound departing at W. Mission Bay Dr/Mission Blvd; PacificBeach -depart at Grand/Mission Blvd; La Jolla - #30 Northbound and depart at La Jolla Blvd/Nautilus for Wind and Sea Beach or Silverado and Herschel for the Village; Ocean Beach - #35 and depart at Sunset Cliffs/Newport; Cabrillo National Monument –28 Shelter Island  transfer at Rosecrans and Shelter Island Dr to bus #84 Cabrillo Monument.

**From Old Town Transit Center you may transfer to the “blue” line trolley and reach the following areas:

DOWNTOWN : Harbor - Santa Fe Depot Station:You will need to transfer to the “blue” line labeled Tijuana and depart at the Santa Fe Depot Station (Depart here for Amtrak station, Coronado Ferry, Maritime Museum, Midway, and Bay Tours/Dinner Cruises(see concierge for discounts) Gaslamp – Fifth Avenue Station (1 block south past Broadway on 4th 5th and 6th Ave.) Petco Park – 12th & Imperial Station (2 blocks west)  Tijuana, Mexican border (US side)- San Ysidro/Tijuana Station  (You may take a shuttle at that point into Mexico to Revolucion Ave or walk over, approx 2 miles to Revolucion Ave., by walking up the ramp to the right.   *********To Return to HOTEL return to OLD TOWN on the blue line trolley and/or FROM Old Town use “Santee” trolley and depart at Fashion Valley Transit Center.**

 

You may reach the following areas from the Fashion Valley Transit Center by boarding the green line trolley labeled “ Santee”  and departing at the following stations:

  • Kinko’s, Supermarket, Hazard Center – HazardCenter(for supermarket turn right, left at Frazee, cross Friars on right)
  • Mission Valley Mall and Target with Pharmacy, Staples – MissionValley Center(staples on left)
  • K-Mart, Sports Authority – RioVista (walk north 1 block)
  • Public Library, Costco, Ikea, Loews – Fenton Parkway
  • Qualcomm Stadium – Qualcomm Stadium
  • Mission San Diego – MissionSan Diego(walk north to San Diego Mission Road and turn right, mission on left)

To Return to HOTEL use “Old Town ” trolley and depart at Fashion Valley Transit center.

10th/  Broadway transfer to the 7 bus 69th/university and depart at Park blvd/President way…for the Zoo depart at Park blvd/Zoo DR.. OR  you can take the 120 southbound  depart at 4th/laurel and walk over the bridge to Balboa Park

Birch Aquarium/Scripps #41 bus UCSD and transfer at UTC to the #30 to depart at La Jolla Shores/Horizon

Hillcrest #120 southbound and depart 5th/University. AIRPORT #120 downtown depart 4th/Broadway transfer #992 to airport

Hotel Del Coronado #120 Downtown depart 4th/broadway walk south to 3rd/broadway transfer #901 depart at Orange/Gloretta

San Diego Convention Center #120 downtown to 4th/G ST walk 1 block to convention center.

 

Universities:  USD-BUS #44; UCSD-BUS #41 SDSU-Take the Green line trolley labeled “Santee” and depart at SDSU

To Old Town: (M-F) The first trolley departs at5:03am and will run every 15 minutes  (:03, :18, :33,:48 of the hour) starting at 5:33am until 9:03pm. After 9:03pm every 30 minutes (:03, :33 of the hour) with the last trolley departure at 12:33am.

(Sa-Su/Hol)The first trolley departs at5:03am –Every 30 minutes (:03, :33 of the hour)  until 12:03pm. After 12:03pm every 15 minutes (:03, :18, :33,:48 of the hour)  until 8:03 pm. After 8:03pm every 30 minutes (:03, :33 of the hour) until 12:33am

To Santee: (M-F) The first trolley departs at 4:21am and will run every 15 minutes (:06, :21, :36, :51 of the hour) until 7:36pm. After 7:36pm every 30 minutes (:06, :36 of the hour) until 10:36pm. *Limited Trolley service from Old Town (11pm, 11:30pm, and 12am) through Qualcomm Stadium departs Fashion Valley at 11:06pm, 11:36pm, and 12:06am.            

(Sa-Su/Hol) 4:36am-Every 30 minutes (:06, :36 of the hour)  until 10:36am. After 10:36am every 15 minutes (:06, :21, :36, :51 of the hour)  until 6:36pm.
