Aarikka

Aarikka, a traditional Finnish design brand, is famous for clear, Scandinavian lines, round shapes and use of wood as the primary material. The Aarikka jewellery, home decoration and souvenir range is unique in its variety and its colourful impact.

Aarikka style represents lasting beauty with a form language and quality that lasts from year to year. The beautiful shades and silky feel of Aarikka’s wooden products date right back to the 1950s, when Mrs. Kaija Aarikka was already experimenting in her kitchen at home. The formulae then became closely guarded trade secrets. The same method is still used today and it gives Aarikka’s wooden jewellery its characteristic, opal-like, silvery sheen.

Today Aarikka’s design team is directed by Pauliina Aarikka, daughter of the company’s founder, Kaija Aarikka.

Asenne

ASENNE a-sen-ne / attitude:

A mental state of mind involving beliefs, feelings, values and dispositions to act in certain ways; “The attitude that shoots you towards your goals, no matter what the odds are..”

Asenne started in early 2005 with an idea to create a surf company from Finland!

The journey of Asenne started back in 1999, when founder Kimmo and a few friends decided to leave the rat race for a while and went on a surf trip to Indonesia.

Coming from a snowboarding background in Finland since early 90′s, surfing was something new and inspiring. This lead to the idea and creation of what Asenne is today:

A small independent surf company with big balls!

Today Asenne manufactures quality surf gear and clothing in limited unique collections, all made with the same love and dedication that we believe in.

Asenne is a big family of people who follow their passion and live their lives to the fullest! By sharing our surf experience, participating in events and organizing surf camps, we aim to bring people with this passion together.

ILOA

ILOA is a label by Anu Salonen. The women's wear collections with witty cuts are designed with subtle but strong expression. Irresistible, laidback, onomatopoetic aesthetics.

"I love you as I love the night's high vault
O silent one, o sorrow's lachrymal,
And love you more because you flee from me,
And temptress of my nights, ironically
You seem to hoard the space, to take to you
What separates my arms from heaven's blue.
I climb to the assault, attack the source,
A choir of wormlets pressing towards a corpse,
And cherish your unbending cruelty,
This iciness so beautiful to me."
Baudelaire

KAKSITVÅ

DOUBLE TROUBLE since 2005!

KAKSITVÅ is an accessory brand, which brings the party with them. Even in a bowling tournament where they were invited a new award were found in order to obtain the award-winning team KAKSITVÅ. After a trip to Mexico they got their own skate team in Oaxaca. KAKSITVÅ´s promoters in Costa Rica have taped Mid-America with KAKSITVÅ label stickers. And when

KAKSITVÅn designers met the Danish Crown Princess Mary, they made her feel relaxed by asking, "What's up Mary?"

Designer duo Marjo Kuusinen and Piia Keto run together the accessory brand KAKSITVÅ from Helsinki, Finland. KAKSITVÅ products include an entire lifestyle. The collection consists of clothing, jewelry, bags and accessories. In addition, KAKSITVÅ product family includes household items such as pillows, chairs, and tablewear.

In 2005 KAKSITVÅ started off as a small-scale experiment in jewelry and bag designing. The popularity of their designs exceeded all expectations and the duo decided to start building their brand in earnest.

The inspiration to their work comes from everything that happens around them –countryside life mixed to the adventures around the world. In their spare time designers thrive in the Helsinki nightlife, rapping and searching for the after parties.

The name of the brand consists of the word two both in Finnish and in Swedish. They came up with the name when they met a pair of Finnish-Swedish twins whose dissimilar personalities inspired them as designers.

One can tell from KAKSITVÅ’s product that the duo has fun designing together. KAKSITVÅ’s strength lies in the use of daring prints and innovations that make their designs spectacular and gives them a unique air. In each collection KAKSITVÅ combines recycled and

new materials together.

KAKSITVÅ collections have been presented in the fashion trade shows abroad since 2008. KAKSITVÅ has had an honor to be elected in Copenhagen, CPH Vision, Paris, Who's Next? and Berlin, Bread & Butter trade show. Thanks to the trade shows KAKSITVÅ has found new interesting foreign dealers and got a lot of media attention. The collection is sold in Finland in Helsinki, Turku, Tampere and Oulu. Brand is sold abroad in Italy, Denmark, France, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Belgium and the United States.

KAKSITVÅ has co-operated with companies Melodica skateboards, Helsinki 10-lifestyle store, Umbrella Helsinki-advertising agency, OVVN-fashion collective, Popot Sneakerstore and AarreKid children's clothing brand. KAKSITVÅ is also sponsoring Finnish band PMMP and ballet group Wannabe ballerinas.

DOUBLE TROUBLE FOREVER!

Lumi Accessories

Lumi Accessories was founded in New York City in 2000. The New Yorker designer duo Sanna Kantola and Bruno Beaugrand were celebrating Millennium in Europe and found an old felt factory in Finland who could manufacture felt products in snow-white felt. They designed simple white felt hats and bags and added leather handles and details onto them. The designers decided to call the products LUMI after the snow-white material produced in Finland (Lumi is the Finnish word for snow).
Lumi products were quickly bought by New York downtown boutiques and by the Japanese distributor HP France who brought the brand to Japan in 2001. In 2003, Lumi Accessories opened a Branch in Paris, France and opened business for Europe. Lumi expanded to leather products and presented a new handbag which would become the Lumi core product and best-seller: the Supermarket Bag made in leather, with multiple handles, removable inside pockets and clean, timeless design. The line expanded to multiple collections made in leather and seasonal fabrics. Small leather goods and gloves were added into the selection.

In 2006, Lumi Accessories introduced a second handbag line, Mhann, for their male customers. In 2007, Lumi Accessories opened a showroom and flagship store in Helsinki, Finland, Lumi on 14.
As of today, Lumi is sold all over the world in over 25 countries in department stores, specialty stores and boutiques. Lumi Accessories operates both in Europe (Helsinki, Finland) and in USA (New York) with offices, showrooms and flagship store.
