Kalevala is not being presented only by their traditions but also with a modern twist. FinnFest 2011 will present Finnish national folklore, Kalevala theme will include interesting lectures, related films, and Kalevala is portrayed for children through Kantele lessons and storytelling.
In addition to Kalevala, FinnFest 2011 will showcase two minorities in Finland and in US – Finnish-Swedish and Latin America.
